A Woman's Plight

Woman is the best creation of  nature,
Yet she is always subjected to torture.
Sometimes death engulfs her before birth,
She is sent to heaven before stepping on earth.
Thanks to prohibition of female foeticide & infanticide,
She survives, but further hardships take her for a ride!
Illtreated & harrassed where ever she goes,
As the banner of being a "female" she owes.
Eve-teasing & dowry are a threat to her life,
Regular atrocities dont let her thrive.
Such is a "Woman's Plight" ,
 If this continues,for "BRIDES", men will fight.
Discrimination on the basis of sex is a deadly demon,
Lets end this & work for the Upliftment of Women!!
